We got pretty much settled in by the end of August. Then, we had the opportunity to host Eric's cousin Craig, his awesome wife Kathleen, and their 6 amazing kids who came from Texas for a little while. Their two youngest kids are adopted and the littlest one was going to be sealed to them in the Newport Beach LDS temple. Kathleen asked me to take some pictures of the fam while they were in town, which was such a great opportunity for me! I loved every second they were all here, and I seriously am SO blessed to have married into such an incredible family :)
We've gotten so much fun stuff!! We seriously are so grateful for all the gifts and hand-me-downs. I kind of went crazy in decorating her nursery right away. I just felt a serious urgency to get it all set up and ready to go. It's not all the way ready yet, but I swear I will post pictures of it once it's perfect :) This girl will be well dressed, and regularly photographed, that's for sure. haha
Our friends Kari and Will went to Disneyland on a family vacation. Seeing as Disneyland is like... a half hour away from us, we HAD to get together. We spent a great day at Newport beach! It was such a blast :) I love those two :)
The last part of this month proved to be quite scary and challenging so I'll separate the posts because the next one is bound to be lengthy haha

Not too long after they left, my sister in law Megan came to stay with us for a couple of weeks with her two boys from Utah. I love my nephews, but they certainly got crazy! There definitely wasn't a dull moment the whole time :) Megan is also pregnant and while she was here, she found out she was having a GIRL!! Oh my gosh, I'm so excited for our little baby girl to have 3 girl cousins her age! And I'm so excited that Megan get's to have a girl to dress up and play with after having these two crazy boys haha We did plenty of fun crafts and lots of shopping for our babies :) Her and my mother in law also planned a baby shower for me while she was here, which was SO much fun! We got lots of adorable things for our baby!!
